Priit Tender’s Animated Film House of Unconsciousness Won the Grand Prix
Priit Tender’s animated film House of Unconsciousness won the Grand Prix in the short film category at the international animated film festival (HAFF) held on 18-22 March in Utrecht, Holland. This is very significant recognition since HAFF is one of the most important international animated film festivals in the world.
This year, the members of the jury for the short film category were Motomichi Nakamura (Japan), Mathieu Labaye (Belgium) and Yumi Joung (South Korea). The jury’s decision concerning the House of Unconsciousness was: “Visuals flowing to the accompaniment of the sounds of an electric guitar create smooth landscapes that transport us to a world filled with wonderful symbolism and oddities”.
