The animated film THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN tells the story of a solitary and brutal hero, the headless horseman. The headless horseman is an ordinary resident of the Grand Canyon. The only difference is that he has no head. The headless horseman suffers from a serious inferiority complex thanks to that one factor that makes him different from the other canyon residents. This makes him terribly violent.
Through a series of ordeals, the headless horseman manages to find himself a new head. Namely, the headless horseman sticks to the moon shining in the sky and he becomes a moonface with a big head. Unfortunately, the headless horseman does not become any better as a person thanks to his new moon face. He remains as solitary and brutal as before. The film THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN is a story of compromise between society and the individual.
